Gameplay in Merge Cakes! is as follows: when you start each round, you’ll see a 3 by 3 grid. On this grid is the counter where you can place the pastries and merge the same types of cake. When you merge two basic cakes, you’ll create a pastry that’s a bit more special (with a cherry on top). When you merge two cakes with a cherry, you’ll get an even more special one, with several cherries. The idea is to keep a constant number of cakes that can be merged because you can’t merge two cakes if they’re not in the same level. The greater the level of the cake, the more money you’ll earn.
